PALESTINE - ISRAEL - JORDAN - SINAI

Off the beaten track tours • Visit sites • Meet locals • Discuss Human Rights & Politics

The latest partnership we are proud to announce is with Zochrot (“remembering” in Hebrew), the renowned Israeli NGO working since 2002 to promote acknowledgement and accountability for the ongoing injustices of the Nakba, the Palestinian catastrophe of 1948.

This 90-minute event will be co-hosted by our very own Yahav Zohar, and Zochrot’s Umar Al-Ghubari.

In this special, one off session, Umar will discuss Zochrot’s work and will begin with an introduction on what the Nakba is.

Then Yahav will take us for a virtual tour of some of the depopulated Palestinian villages along route 1 to the west of Jerusalem.

The third part will be on Return of the Palestinian Refugees and will explore Zochrot’s work to understand the practical and social changes needed to make this a realistic possibility.

As always, we will have time for discussion and questions. The event is free to join and at the end you can contribute whatever you felt the tour was worth.

Registration for this event has now closed.
